Union Food Bank 

The Union Food Bank plays a vital role in addressing food insecurity within the Union County Oregon, providing essential resources to individuals and families in need. A project to expand the Union Food Bank’s capacity was introduced 2023 and Kausler Consulting worked to secure funding for the project early in 2024.  

CITY of Union, Oregon 

In 2023, Kausler Consulting provided support to the City of Union in their pursuit of a Certified Local Government Grant. The grant application aimed to secure funding for the hiring of a historic architect to assist with a national Historic Register application for the Historic Union Ranger District Compound. Currently, the project is in progress.

Back in 2021, funding was secured for the Union Ranger District Compound to engage an architectural engineer. Their role was to aid in the development of restoration plans for various buildings within the Union Ranger District Compound. This project has since been successfully completed.

Furthermore, in 2020, Kausler Consulting collaborated with Main Street Union and the City of Union to enhance the lighting at Union City Park. They obtained a matching grant from the State of Oregon for this purpose. The project reached its completion in 2021

Kausler Consulting has worked to support The Angel Project, a dynamic team working to provide health care and education to those in need.

CAtherine Creek Community Center

Kausler Consulting has accomplished the acquisition of grant funding surpassing $310,000 in diverse fields such as historic preservation, community initiatives, and youth programming. Furthermore, they have played a vital role in aiding the development of organizational policies, procedures, and programming, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.

Union County Chamber of Commerce

Working under the Thriving Entrepreneur Program at Catherine Creek Community Center, Cherie Kausler in 2023, assisted the Union County Chamber of Commerce in securing Travel Oregon funding for the Union County Farm Crawl and the Union County Farm to Table Meal.  

City of Union Chamber of Commerece 

On September 7, 2023, The City of Union Chamber of Commerce received notification that they have received funding from the Union County Chamber of Commerce for their annual Winter Wonderland Display.  The small grant request was developed in partnership with Cherie Kausler. 

Main Street Union

During the challenging times brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, Kausler Consulting actively contributed as a member of the Main Street Union and Economic Development Committee.

Echo eyes Publicity and Management

Project Planning and Business Ownership share striking similarities. From 2004 to 2014, Cherie Kausler exemplified this connection through her role as the driving force behind Echo Eyes Publicity and Management. Her unwavering commitment to musicians defined her business ownership style, akin to meticulous project planning. Over the course of a decade, she adeptly orchestrated the journeys of her bands across diverse regions, including Europe, Mexico, and the United States. The results were remarkable, as her dedication earned media coverage. Magazines, radio stations, and blogs showcased her artists and their creations, a testament to her skillful navigation of both entrepreneurial and project-based endeavors. 

Union Head Start & Union Preschool

Cherie Kausler initiated one of her earliest projects in 1996 by extending an invitation to Eastern Oregon Head Start to establish a presence in the rural community of Union, Oregon. This ambitious project spanned multiple years and encompassed various aspects. It involved the development of a pilot preschool program in collaboration with the Union School District, close cooperation with Child Care Resource and Referral in Eastern Oregon and reaching out to Eastern Oregon University for additional support and resources.
